Wealth Management Operations
Global Wealth Management Operations provides brokerage, investment and financial services to hundreds of thousands of individual investors. We apply our expertise in serving institutional clients to create new opportunities for people to achieve their personal financial goals. Morgan Stanley has one of the largest retail brokerage networks, with numerous worldwide representatives and retail locations. Our services are tailored to each client's investment objectives, risk tolerance, and financial needs. Products include mutual funds, stocks, bonds, and alternative investments where appropriate, as well as banking, mortgages, insurance and annuities.
Authorize Disbursements from client brokerage accounts. This includes Fed Fund wire, DTC Free Delivery, Check and Journal disbursement transactions.
Confirm that Disbursement requests have sufficient collateral to support disbursement transactions.
Confirm that Disbursements requests are in compliance with firm and regulatory processes.
Ensure disbursement requests are processed in a timely manner.
Provide phone and email support to branch office field to answer questions that need immediate attention regarding department approval processes.
Responsible for the preparation and compilation of daily/weekly/monthly metric dashboards and capacity plans for management.
Participate in Information Technology testing initiatives in an effort to enhance new or current processing systems.
Bachelors degree; business or economics degree preferred
Knowledge of margin/securities based lending
Intermediate Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel
