Wells Fargo Small Business Administration Lending (WFSBA) has an opportunity for a talented, highly motivated, credit savvy professional for the position of Private/Business Loan Underwriter 4 located in Minneapolis, MN. SBA Lending is part of the Business Banking Group within Wholesale Banking.
This individual will be responsible for credit underwriting and approval activities of government guaranteed SBA 7(A) loans and 504 real estate loans in this hub. The lending team will be responsible for underwriting, approval and credit quality of a growing book of SBA business, with expectations of new booked originations of $200MM+ annually.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.Required Qualifications
