A "hands-on" Process Engineer is needed for a rapidly growing technology company located in York/Emigsville, PA to design, develop and analyze processes, as well as create process control documents to support all company electronic production repair / assembly functions in response to business requirements.

This position will:
* Evaluate repair processes to maximize efficiency ( including: soldering, cosmetics, assembly, device programming, component level testing, and final assembly functional and RF testing)
* Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, & Excel)
* Perform time studies for baselines and lead / participate in improvement initiatives.
* Support manufacturing in regards to: failure validation, root cause analysis, corrective action implementation.
* Coordinate with QA and Materials to address line impacting component escalations and determine alternate source components.
* Analyze production data and interpret results to direct improvement initiatives.
* Design and develop fixturing / tooling to drive process efficiencies.
* Process facility layout designs to maximize throughput, yields, and quality

Qualifications include:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering preferred (or Associate degree with 5+ years of related industry experience)
* Ability to work from complex Schematic, layouts, and diagrams.
* Ability to interpret ISB's, CSB's, and FSB's and other product specific documentation
* Ability to multitask in a fast paced, dynamic assembly and logistics environment
* Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail
* Experience with Minitab, Visio, Adobe Pro, or AutoCAD preferred
* Experience with Lean, 5s and Six Sigma statistical process control techniques a plus!
