A brighter future is in your hands. We're currently seeking a Procurement Analyst.

BrightView is looking for a Procurement Analyst with strong analytical skills to identify, drive and maintain efficiencies across multiple divisions. This position reports to the Corporate Procurement Manager/Director. The Procurement Team is responsible for supporting operations and managing company spend, while ensuring that all materials are acquired at the lowest cost consistent with considerations of quality, reliability of source, and urgency of need.

The procurement group serves BrightView's business units and branches, totaling over 275 operating locations. The successful candidate is ambitious, has strong analytic and communication skills, highly organized and customer-service oriented. This position may require travel (up to 15%). 

What you'll do:

  • Performing data analysis to support operational and sourcing decisions

  • Presenting ad hoc business analysis and recommendations to management

  • Efficiently administering national vendor contracts in various categories including but not limited to: fertilizer and chemical application processes, salt contracts and sourcing, waste management and other as assigned, copiers, travel, credit cards, uniforms and others

  • Draft and develop new supplier programs

  • Analyze RFQ and RFP responses

  • Procurement project organization and administration

  • Support vendor relationships and agreements

  • Develop and maintain necessary records and files

  • Demonstrate role model behaviors regarding ethics and integrity 

Skills we're seeking:

The Procurement Analyst works with corporate staff, division and branch management as well as vendors to research, identify, and leverage best practices leading to the timely delivery of related products and services.  The ideal candidate possesses the following:

  • College degree or minimum five years of equivalent experience of analyst type work

  • Energetic, organized and self-motived

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

  • Excellent communications and critical thinking skills

  • Work with partners to resolve disputes and handle urgent requests

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Consistently provide a high level of customer service and professionalism to a variety of partners and customers in complex and demanding situations

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

  • Advanced Excel proficiencies must include the ability to accurately consolidate multiple data collections from several database sources, and be able to clearly summarize large data groups through use of pivot tables, vlookups, and formulation as needed
