The Procurement & Logistics Lead will:
Direct the activities of the site’s raw materials planning team including the creation and maintenance of the site’s material requirements plan (MRP) for all production requirements
Work with planning and manufacturing to enable production plans by ensuring availability of raw materials and purchased sub components
Be the site’s primary point-of-contact for materials-related issues and will ensure proactive communication to all relevant stakeholders
Manage raw material and purchased sub component supply for the site including business supply needs, new production pipeline volume builds and other plant project work
Plan and prepare material requirement plans for manufacturing through subordinate planners, develops and implements materials policies, standards, guidelines, technology and procedures
Manage materials planning and set clear performance standards; holds people accountable for results, deliver customer service goals, optimize inventory investments, delivers raw material requirements within the entitlement framework, safety targets, non-conformance/quality improvement goals, build cross-functional and cross-departmental support, fosters overall group effectiveness
Coach and guide teams to mine data from appropriate systems and to carry out complex analysis for ad-hoc business requests
Develop and manage local and sector programs to deliver continuous improvement in KPI’s
Develop, coach and guide raw materials planning team in the execution of strategic initiatives and the realization of department and company goals; advances succession planning by holding career conversations with staff
Ensure planning processes are capable of delivering controlled raw material and purchased sub component inventory results
Minimize Slow Moving & Obsolete (SLOB) raw materials
Lead and support all compliance process activities including change control, deviations, events and non-conformance reports and assess supply impact

Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required 
A minimum of six (6) years of related experience is required 
Supply chain certification (APICS/ IBF) is preferred 
Six Sigma and/or Lean certification is preferred
Experience with ERP & advanced planning systems is required 
Planning, purchasing, or manufacturing experience in a medical, pharmaceutical or consumer industry is preferred 
Familiarity with relevant legislation (e.g. GMP, ISO, FDA requirements) is preferred
Ability to develop, coach and lead a team of both professional & hourly associates is required
Ability to build strong collaborative teams and relationships, leading cross functional and/or virtual teams where required
The ability to influence director & VP levels within the organization and in a matrix environment is required 
Ability to drive and apply continuous process improvement tools and improvements to large and complex projects 
Working knowledge of financial processes
Ability to translate complex situations into simple working solutions is required
Proficient user of MS Office, MS Excel (ability to create Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, etc.) Word, PowerPoint is required 
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
