Primary Role:
  • Manage the interfaces between enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and core procurement systems for Spend Analytics, value capture, and other third-party solutions or other internal/external system and tools, ensuring compliance with system/tool contracts, established KPIs, and service levels
  • Develop and manage relevant training programs; provide training, training-related documents and materials as necessary to enhance user proficiency of systems and tools
  • Support the development and maintenance of standard Procurement business processes and tools.
  • Develop, manage and maintain spend analytics tool for Procurement.
  • Complete high-level analysis to provide category insights to support category management strategy development and initiative implementation as needed
  • Strong interpersonal, communications and problem solving skills required. Must display a passion for strategic sourcing, supply management and continuous improvement.
Essential Functions:
Spend Analytic Tool Support and Development (70%)
  • Provides level one end user support in Zycus iAnalyze Spend Analytics tool Procurement team members
  • Lead/own resolution of Spend Analytic issues brought by end users by:
    • Analyzing and fully understanding the issue
    • Conducting research to identify root causes
    • Correcting system issues (e.g., data extract issues)
    • Involving proper IT, solution provider Technical Support or cross-functional business partners to drive resolution if required
    • Testing solutions prior to deployment in production environment
    • Providing feedback to internal/external solution providers
  • Partner with Category Teams to develop dashboards and custom reporting templates
  • Create and maintain systems and tools documentation, user manuals and work instructions
  • Conduct end user training for existing team members and new joiners
  • Create documentation for system enhancements following implemented change management process
  • Perform system testing, implementations, enhancements and upgrades
  • Act as a liaison with end-users and internal/external technical support teams
  • Develop understanding and knowledge of category taxonomy, key categories and current supply base
  • Manage relationship with third-party systems, tools and solution providers
Technology and Processes (15%)
  • Promote and support effective use of Procurement Tools for spend analytics and any other third-party solutions or internal/external system and tools with category managers.
  • Provide ongoing support to maintain and enhance current/ replacement systems
  • Support the development and maintenance of procurement business processes including standard operating procedures and work instructions
  • Undertake ad hoc projects as requested to support technology and process improvements
Planning and Reporting (15%)
  • Develop and administer spend analytic accuracy monitoring process in order to improve quality of tool
  • Prepare and analyze system/tool utilization reports; provide recommendations to improve/increase system utilization and end user experience
  • Provide input to Annual Procurement Planning Calendar
Education & Experience Requirements
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-3 years' experience in procurement category management preferred
  • 3-5 years' experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE, Coupa, etc.)
  • 1-3 years' experience with Zycus iAnalyze
  • 1-3 years' experience with Business Intelligence Tools (e.g., Qlik, Tableau)
  • Computer literacy and good working knowledge of MS Office tools, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint
Desirable
  • An MBA or other Masters level degree
  • A degree in in Business Intelligence/Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Engineering
  • Prior working experience gained in either a pharmaceutical company or in a mature consultancy/agency
