Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages LLC, is expanding their corporate headquarters in the Dallas, TX market and have several new opportunities estimated to start on 4/1/17 as a result of the recent acquisition by Arca Continental Beverages, a partner with the Coca-Cola Company for over 90 years. These new positions will be part of the new structure and company. The Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages team is comprised of 9 manufacturing facilities and distributes product from 37 locations. We market, produce and deliver bottles of happiness; serving markets throughout Texas, as well as parts of New Mexico, Oklahoma and Arkansas. The Procurement Director is responsible for leading all procurement efforts to efficiently and effectively enable spend owners such as business units and functional partners to maximize the value they receive from suppliers to meet their objectives. 

  • Analyze, negotiate and approve main procurement and supply strategies, particularly those proposed by CCBSS as well as government issues related to this group for the benefit of CCSWB and Arca Continental´s global procurement strategy.

 

  • Lead, negotiate and approve the short and long term supply strategies and results of negotiations performed by CCBSS within CCSWB´s areas for their operational implementation.  AC´s specific procurement strategies should also be implemented within CCSWB.

 

  • Negotiate, advise and represent CCSWB procurement interests within Arca Continental for the convenience of its region.

 

  • Attend and represent CCSWB in procurement related events, ceremonies, seminars, etc.

 

  • Develop training programs and capabilities development activities for the CCSWB Procurement team to foster a talented, updated and competitive team.

 

  • Analyze and negotiate Commodity Risk Management related to CCSWB, for example: Aluminum for metal cans, Fuel, Corn for HFCS.  Obtain Financial Committee´s approval before implementing strategy.  Follow up as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
  • Advanced level of English
  • 5 years of management experience in Procurement, Operations, Logistics
  • Travel: 60% office/10% plant/30% travel
  • Expert business knowledge, negotiation skills, and objectives management
  • Advanced knowledge of costs and budgets, finance, and personnel management
  • Basic knowledge of quality systems
