The Product Analysis Lab (PAL) Technician will:
  • Provide electro-mechanical and electronic troubleshooting, and assessment expertise to support complex customer complaint analysis, including potential MDR (medical device reportable) events.
  • Responsibility of accurately documenting all activities by following the appropriate work instructions.
  • Must be able to evaluate complaint, perform the investigation, and complete thorough, accurate, and clearly written investigation reports that demonstrate a technical understanding of the failure mode with an ability to translate investigation technique to evaluation findings. 
  • Clearly and concisely document each test step performed with results as well as ensure investigation results are captured in the complaint handling database, and perform other related duties as assigned by Supervisor/Lead.

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • A Technical Degree in Electronics and/or a degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering is preferred. 
  • Experience in a regulated (FDA or similar) industry is required.
  • Experience in trouble shooting electro-mechanical parts and with ISO 13485 or similar requirements is preferred. 
  • Experience with MS Office, Minitab, and database is preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing and/or quality environment is also preferred.
  • The ability to perform multiple tasks, executing with precision and accuracy is required. Following appropriate procedures followed by accurate documentation is also required.
  • The ability to work independently and prioritize tasks, accurate attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with teammates, along with the ability to work an extended period of time on a computer are all requirements for this position.
  • The position is based in West Chester, PA.
