Role Summary:

The Ambulatory Practice Solutions (APS) business is creating a revolution in how healthcare manages patient health in the ambulatory sector. We are building a cloud-native platform that will support interconnecting a family of cloud-based healthcare applications. This is your chance to direct that change.

Essential Responsibilities:

This position, under general direction, leads software and process design changes, reviews and tests code, conducts business and systems analysis, and generates application documentation. The Platform & Systems Technical Product Owner will work directly with customers to gather requirements, and be the technical liaison between the software development team, development partners, and the business customers to guide & test the software.

-Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

-as the Product Owner within an Agile scrum team performing the following:

-Drives the development and deployment of a cloud native platform requirements that are targeted at a (usually) very technical audience

-Prepares User Requirements with Technical Feasibility and translates requirements for Engineering

-Manages Backlog

-Meets with Customers to research user needs

-Interprets the business needs

-Works with technical writers on documentation

-Represents the project stakeholders throughout the process

-Provides domain expertise during the acceptance testing process

-Supports efforts on Early Readiness Testing (ERT)

-Collaborates with strategic partners in the development of the Platform and the IT Admin workflow.

-Collaborates with User Experience Team on usability testing to ensure the right product is being produced for the customer

-Troubleshoots in support of issues that come up from Services Team

-Provides training on the product to other groups and may support training efforts with Customers

-Works closely with Product Management to understand the strategic roadmap and provides input.

-Keeps current with industry trends and domain expertise

Qualifications/Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

-Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field

-3+ years' experience delivering a cloud native application, incorporating deployment and operational support of a cloud solution.

-5+ years' experience in software engineering, product development, or related field

Desired Characteristics:

-Other cloud platform experience outside of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud platform.

-7+ years' experience in software engineering, product development or related field.

-Healthcare product/industry/technical acumen

-Demonstrates ability to problem solve

-Team oriented - ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams

-Proven ability to work globally

-Proven ability to influence and negotiate internally and with customers.

-Excellent oral and written communications skills

-Strong analytical and process skills

-Strong project management skills

-Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment
