The Oracle Cloud Platform Product Management organization is dedicated to driving revenue growth, both directly through customer engagement and enabling sales teams. Product Management works with an array of organizations within Oracle to define the appropriate strategy to ensure effective and broad delivery of the go-to-market initiatives on a global basis.
Can you create videos, graphics, and web content like an advertising firm, optimize the content, and influence the buyers and sellers? Are you creative, but good with production details? Do you enjoy developing a concept, making it happen, and understanding if it worked? Do you have a background in Cloud Infrastructure or IaaS -- and a flair for solving customer problems? This is a unique time to join the Cloud Platform product management team. The right candidate will accelerate the adoption of our next generation Infrastructure as a Service.
The Product Content Specialist will contribute to the development and execution of go-to-market messaging and positioning in the Enterprise markets working with an array of other organizations on a global level.
• Positioning and Messaging:
o Create compelling and differentiated content, including videos, web graphics, web content, community content, social media content, infographics, presentations, brochures, customer testimonials that can be leveraged globally.
o Manage relevant content properties to distribute content (e.g. sales portals, websites, communities, newsletters, blogs)
o Analyze effectiveness of content for continual improvement
o Manage third parties for graphic and video creation
o Execute go-to-market strategies and plans by service, theme, and/or audience
o Collaborate with Inbound and Outbound Product Management to ensure GTM plans support product roadmap and releases
o Convey outbound product messaging, positioning, marketing, and deliverables
o Participate in cross-organizational product launch plans
Ideal candidate will be a multimedia developer, resourceful with web, social media, graphic, and video creation skills to develop modern content targeted at IT management, developers, and other personas. Must be able to manage editorial calendar to meet publishing deadlines. Will have experience working with virtual teams and product experts to evangelize their solution to target audiences.
• Experience creating compelling, high quality web content, social media content, and videos on short time lines. You must be a good story-teller. Examples of prior work will be required.

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, graphic design, or related field.
Development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for a product/service or vertical market.
As a product analyst you will participate in every stage of the product life cycle to ensure product meets the needs of users. Drive the implementation of programs in support of the marketing strategy, business plans, and forecasts for assigned product lines. Maintains current status of customer specifications for existing and future products. Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities in support of product line objectives. Drive product functionality delivering high quality product documentation. Lead products through scheduled release assisting others to manage commitments and resources. Measure and report progress and review deliverables.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Excellent written and verbal communication. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Thrives in fast paced environment Team player. Experience using or implementing Oracle, SAP, or Peoplesoft applications. Practical experience using the Internet. 2 years generalist experience and BA/BS degree in marketing or technical major preferred.
