The Senior Advisor Specialty Product Development will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining products that will assist payor clients in managing specialty drug spend. The individual in this role will be involved in assessing the client and market demand and competitive landscape to ensure development efforts satisfy market needs. In addition, the Senior Advisor Specialty Product Development will work closely with key stakeholders to drive deliverable execution.
The successful candidate will be able to adapt to a fast paced environment, work efficiently and effectively in a cross-functional team setting.The Senior Advisor will have the following responsibilities:
- Lead design and development efforts for assigned products within the portfolio
- Execute product strategy, driving concepts through design and implementation
- Serve as internal and external subject matter expert
- Educate and train end users, as appropriate
- Develop processes to measure program success and achieve optimal program performance
- Identify and implement product improvements , as needed
- Collaborate with analytics, accounting/finance, sales, and external vendors
- Additional responsibilities as appropriate
The Senior Advisor will also be expected to have results-oriented focus with the ability to work cross functionallywith key stakeholders to deliver and keep others on task to meet defined goals. The Senior Advisor will be a team play and be able to develop cross functional relationships and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. This person will possess business and financial acumen within the specialty line of business.
Required Qualifications:3-5 years of Project Management experience managing multiple projects. This position requires the individual to identify, analyze and solve practical problems; adjusting priorities as needed and meeting deadlines.
3-5 years of strong analytic experience
Minimum of 3-5 years in a healthcare business setting
Proficient use of MS Outlook
Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)Preferred Qualifications: PBM or Specialty pharmacy experience
Prior knowledge or experience with the 340B drug pricing program Education:Bachelors Degree in related fieldBusiness Overview:
