The Neurovascular Product Director will manage a key product franchise(s) within the Neurovascular business.  Product lines may include thrombectomy devices, embolics, detachable coils, stents and access products to support the endovascular treatment of stroke.  The individual will assist with achieving the US revenue plans, develop forecasts, provide updates to annual Business Plan, Strategic Plan, and other financial plans, as well as provide support for field-based Sales Team, Strategic Accounts Management, and other Commercial partners.
The Neurovascular Product Director will:
  • Assess the market to identify opportunities by establishing and nurturing key physician contacts, analyzing competitive actions, new technologies and market trends.
  • Developing business cases to advance solid marketing campaigns that increase market share. 
  • Collaborate with Professional Education for clinical training programs.
  • Partner with new product development, upstream marketing, sales, finance and key external stakeholders to identify unmet clinical/surgical needs.
  • Evaluate options, create financial models, and provide direction for growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to launch new products, develop sales collateral, physician education and patient education materials, including digital and printed formats.
  • Develop and execute pricing strategies, develop promotional campaigns and communicate marketing tactics to field sales team.
  • Attend industry tradeshows, professional education events, and other company-sponsored events to provide product training and support to customers, assess product portfolio, and manage the product lifecycles of portfolio products.

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required; advanced Degree (MBA) is preferred. 
  • A minimum of three (3) years of Marketing and/or related Sales experience is required.
  • Product management, product marketing, branding/marketing experience or sales experience in a healthcare industry is required.
  • Experience in the medical device industry is preferred; Experience launching new products in the neurovascular field is also preferred.
  • Must possess the ability to be comfortable working closely with physicians, surgeons, and sales representatives.
  • Up to 25% travel may be required for this role.
