Product Ecology Engineer Job Description
The successful candidate will implement product ecology programs to ensure that Intel products meet emerging customer and regulatory requirements. Identifying worldwide product ecology regulatory and customer trends and organizing appropriate business group specific responses; working with design teams to meet ecology related deliverables in product life cycle; ensuring internal databases or software systems are adequate to demonstrate compliance to regulatory requirements for business specific needs; maintaining ecology management system specifications, internal/external web pages and training; and working with external laboratories to test products for chemical content. The candidate will work closely with engineering, materials, IT and customer quality engineers to ensure compliance to customer and regulatory requirements.
Ensures products conform to standards and specifications. Develops plans and cost estimates and assesses projects to analyze risk. Develops procedures, analyzes designs, initiates, guides, and coordinates overall compliance strategy. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement. Some travel will be required. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.
- Must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Environmental Engineering or related field.
- At the BS level only, must have the unrestricted right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship

- Understanding of database principles and structured query language (SQL)
