The Device Technology eUICC Productization Team commercializes the Verizon Wireless eUICC technology portfolio. This is an exciting position on the leading edge of device designs, technologies, features, functionalities in an intense, challenging, fast paced environment.

The Consumer Product Manager manages wireless device OEMs/ODMs in defining and delivering innovative products from device ranging to launch.  This involves working with cross functional teams for on time launch with expected product quality.   This role also covers preparing Quality Management Review (QMR) briefing decks for leadership, communicating status to leadership on key product launches, managing and owning Program Review Meetings (PRM) and supporting and driving customer issues to closure. 

The Product Manager would lead and serve as a prime driver within Device Technology to drive definition lockdown, on time launch and appropriate product quality of Verizon Wireless eUICC technology.

 The Product Manger would manage OEMs/ODMs with minimum supervision and guide OEM/ODMs to deliver on VZW eUICC roadmap by supporting execution from design, planning, to device certification, launch and post launch activities.

 Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and drive consensus on product definition and realization which includes hardware, software and customer experiences associated with the eUICC 
  • Arbitrate conflicts that impact value proposition, user experience, quality and schedule and drive recommendations
  • Manage and drive device issues to closure for certification and during pre-development and follow something similar for post launch issues
  • Manage and resolve escalations from OEMs/ODMs and create executive summary on device status
  • Evaluate complementary proposals from Verizon product groups that impact devices under management,  and drive direction across Verizon and OEM's to realize, manage and launch the devices and features on the device


Candidate should have end-to-end product management experience with consumer devices and should have launched and managed devices thru end of life. Candidate should be knowledgeable in wireless devices and other connected devices. Candidate should be comfortable in creating executive summaries and managing escalations thru product realization cycles.  An ideal candidate should be proficient with the business environment and market ecosystem of connected devices.

Education: Bachelor's degree, B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent field, MS or MBA preferred or equivalent work experience 


  • Telecommunications experience in mobile embedded systems and products is required
  • Wireless engineering experience or strong understanding of wireless infrastructure (3G and 4G) is a must
  • Excellent knowledge of LTE, IMS, VoLTE, SIM Toolkit, SIM OTA, and JavaCard
  • Technical leadership and excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, proficiency in MS Office and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to undertake multiple initiatives simultaneously is highly desired
  • Demonstrated ability to respond effectively to conflicting priorities, continuously prioritize and reprioritize deliverables, and to respond to unexpected changes is required
  • Demonstrated ability to build productive working relationships with internal teams), external customers and partners
  • Positive, self-starter with can-do attitude (start with yes)
  • Ownership and willingness to do what it takes to attain performance goals
