Product Engineer - Timing Power
Job Description
This position is specific to the FPGA product line. The job responsibility includes but not limited to FPGA product timing, power or thermal system correlation and validation, define product performance and power strategy, balancing the product performance and power yield.

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/ or work experience. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly. Minimum Requirements: The candidate must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering or any related field. Minimum 3 months of experience in the following areas: VLSI process technology for deep submicron. Digital design skills ( e.g. RTL, VHDL or Verilog coding). Static timing analysis, full-chip timing closure. Static/dynamic power estimation. Scripting language Preferred Qualifications: Experience/ Knowledge in the following: Programmable logic & FPGA architecture knowledge is a plus. Performance evaluation and speed / power tradeoffs of large scale integrated circuits. Expertise in V93K, T2000 tester hardware.
