Position Description

As a Product Excellence lead you will play a unique role to enable the product teams deliver high value products to delight customers & buyers. You will build strategy, tools and shape up trainings/workshops around product discovery, building ROI, data driven decisions and measure product success based on different KPIs. You will work closely with key product leaders to implement best practices and help take eBay’s product management to next level. You are responsible to help build bridges between customers and product teams to drive continuous product innovation Responsibilities include but not limited to: 



  • Design and build industry level KPIs working closely with the product teams
  • Design and drive Product Discovery sessions using industry best practices
  • Leverage existing tools to help product teams understand customer POV
  • Lead and host sessions to help improve customer and buyer experience
  • Help build a culture of value driven product development
  • Build tools to showcase valuable customer and product data for better decision making at the leadership level
  • Build a culture of ownership and accountability
  • Communicate the benefits and champion product excellence throughout the organization

Minimum Qualifications;

  • 2-3  years of product management experience 
  • 2-3 years of technical development experience using Tableau or any other data aggregation tools
  • Experience in e-commerce and web-oriented technology products 

  • Ability to lead, drive consensus and deliver in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders 

  • Metrics driven, can draw insights from large data sets to iterate over product quickly 

  • Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly and understand how to drive a high level of focus 

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners 

  • Strong experience in designing user experience for customer facing products and building mocks for product ideas 

  • Experience delivering technology products/services in a high growth environment with a demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into business and product requirements 

  • Able to work with multiple cross functional teams

Additional Preferred Qualifications

BS Computer Science and/or MBA degree or advanced technical degree
