As a Product Advisor focused on Cloud, you will advise customers on cloud productivity, be the first point of contact for our customers, foster a positive and collaborative experience for prospects to learn about and engage with Microsoft products and services. You will hold business conversations with the customers to understand their needs and qualify leads, and introduce them to the store’s Business Solutions Specialist (BSS). You will be equipped with best-in-class tools that enable highly efficient and accelerated sales activities.


Key Responsibilities:
•Engage with customers across industries, company sizes and types to determine their needs and identify opportunities to fulfill their needs with Microsoft’s leading cloud technologies
•Delight and sell our Cloud products with a specific focus on Microsoft 365 and Office 365
•Effectively turn prospects and qualified leads into opportunities
•Be the first contact point for many customers, deliver a strong first impression and set the foundation for long term customer relationship
•Meet and exceed daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly targets, including activity based targets; accurately forecast pipeline generation
•Leverage best-in-class sales tooling and communications tools to accelerate sales, maintain high daily activity
•Communicate with customers and colleagues effectively through phone and email
•Work in a fast-paced, collaborative and dynamic team environment with store associates across all Microsoft Stores
•Obsess over Microsoft’s customers and prospects to deliver a world-class customer engagement experience


Requirements:
•1+ years of sales/customer service relationship background
•Familiarity with modern sales techniques and tools
•Customer interactions via SKYPE and other forms of telecommunication
•A self-starter with a track record of consistent performance and in achieving goals set by the store/org
•Strong interpersonal communication skills with excellent phone conversation skills, attentive listening and superior writing skills
•Desire to work in a customer facing environment where one’s growth potential is driven by one’s abilities and attitude
•General knowledge of the IT industry with a passion for cloud technologies, with the capacity to learn, retain and share knowledge about individual products and business solutions quickly and accurately
•Solid time management skills and ability to work independently or under supervision with a high level of integrity
•Experience using Microsoft Office Suite applications

Preferences:
•4-year college degree
•Telephone based experience (outbound customer contact and outreach via phone)
•Experience working with or selling Cloud products (Office 365, Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics) or similar solutions
•Experience working with Dynamics CRM or other CRM solutions
•Retail experience a plus


Items to note about Role:
•Location is based in either Nashville, TN or San Diego, CA
•Role to work business hours, between 8:30am and 6pm, non-weekends
•No holiday working hours
