Current Need

 

The Product Manager - Auto Substitution is responsible for all aspects of the Auto Substitution program for McKesson Specialty Health.  The Product Manager will collaborate with business partners to:                                            

  • Manage auto substitution product portfolio and ensure enrolled customers are subbed to the lowest cost materials at the time of order

  • Ensure new product launches and new materials are added to the auto sub portfolio in a timely matter

  • Produce regular Quarterly Business Reports for Sales team on account performance (e.g., savings and fill rates)

  • Design the processes and reports that enable monitoring of the key business drivers for the program

  • Identify and resolve any Auto Substitution issues 
  • Coordinate system development with IT (SAP team, webstore) and business owners to enhance automation, ease of use and visibility

 

Position Description

 

Direct ownership of auto substitution goals and objectives.  Develop plans to meet or exceed customer enrollment, program performance and financial goals.

Execute auto substitution daily activities to ensure enrolled customers are subbed to the lowest cost materials at the time of order

Manage all auto sub related activities to support new product launches and new material additions to drug portfolio

Collaborate with IT on new auto sub technical enhancements

Provide continual focus on process improvement

 

 


 

 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

6+ years of experience in product marketing


Critical Skills

Bachelors degree required; preferably in Business or Mathematics

5 plus years product/program management, product marketing, project management,  and or management consulting

Experience developing programs that are customer facing 


Additional Knowledge & Skills

MBA preferred or related field or equivalent experience preferred

SAP (front end and BW) highly desired 

Tableau experience highly desired   

Management consulting, retail or healthcare experience highly desired

Strategic thinker with ability to translate into operating programs

Confidence and communication maturity

Strong business and financial acumen, and in depth critical thinking leading to sound business decisions
Demonstrated success defining and implementing initiatives on-time, and within budget
A demonstrated track record of improving operational efficiencies
Ability to collaborate in a multi disciplinary environment
Proven ability to work in a fast paced, and dynamic team environment

 

Education

MBA preferred in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience
