We are seeking a passionate and experienced product manager in the Credit to
Collections product management team to participate in Oracle Cloud Financial
applications development, the next generation Oracle Applications. Oracle Credit
to Collections solution empowers users to collect money faster with less effort
through streamlined processes and manage collection risk better with flexible
collection methods. It helps organizations improve cash flow, increase
efficiency, optimize customer relationships and instill corporate and fiscal
You will have end-to-end ownership of your product space and be responsible
for strategy, execution, and go-to-market. You will participate in every phase of
the software development life cycle for the rapidly emerging Cloud, e-
commerce, CRM and ERP markets. As a member of the product development
division, you are expected to actively contribute to product strategy/planning,
business requirements analysis, product solution design, user interface design,
product testing, product training, and marketing collateral preparation. You will
work closely with support, consulting, education, worldwide marketing, sales,
and our existing customer base to help our current and future customers to get
the most out of Oracle Credit to Collections solution.
- Subject matter expert in Credit to Collections space
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, General Business Management,
Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent
experience relevant to the functional areas.
- Experience(preferable 8 years) in one or more of the following areas:
* Product management or software development which could include product
strategy definition, business process analysis and product design
* Implementing, consulting, Using, or supporting ERP, CRM, or business
* Product marketing
* Selling (field selling or direct marketing) ERP, CRM, or business intelligence
* Proven excellence in written and spoken communication skills
* Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple concurrent
* Ability to work with multiple organizational and management levels and
* Knowledge of Oracle Financials, Collections, Receivables or other ERP Order
to Cash applications a significant plus
Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
