The Product Manager for Oracle Support Communities is a role responsible for establishing the best in class communities for Oracle. Support Customers spanning software, hardware, on premise products and Cloud Services. Candidates in this role require proven record of designing, establishing and sustaining highly engaged and vibrant communities.

Key Responsibilities:
Define the best in class experience for Oracle's Support customers to drive traffic and participation in the support communities
You will create a social platform for business purposes, troubleshooting context and customer support practices.
Benchmark industry leaders and assess gaps in our business process, practices and operations.
Identify community trends, transformations and technology vectors and determine best fit for Oracle's Customers.
Define and execute the engagement model for driving community participation & collaboration with the right balance of incentives to promote the right behavior - in order for people to come and engage and get value.
Develop reward and recognition programs for community participants
Determine business process changes and negotiate support delivery engagement which work for the business

Experience:
S trong understanding of a human behaviors and dynamics based on a design model with a knack for identifying mechanisms to drive desired behaviors
Good understanding of building and sustaining Community Forums at scale.
Excellent creative and communication skills
Excellent project management skills.
Data analysis skills and negotiation skills
5- 10 years of work experience in any combination of marketing and product management with increasing responsibilities
Qualifications:
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
