Provide expertise and guidance to the FSGBU Development Teams on Financial Services industry security requirements, security best practices and the implementation of Oracle security technologies particularly in our Cloud based offerings. Work with FSGBU Line of Business (LOB) Security Leads and Security SPOCs, FSGBU Line of Business, Development Heads/Leads and Architects, Global Product Security (GPS), GBU Risk and Compliance, etc. and the FSGBU Technology Office to ensure that Oracle's security policies and practices are implemented co nsistently acr oss the FSGBU. Be the primary point of contact for all security items within the FSGBU and position Oracle's security credentials within the Financial Services Industry.
In this role you will p rovide experti se, requirements and guidance to the Development teams on PCI, HIPAA, SOX, GLBA, FFIEC, and TG3/TR39 other industry or regulatory requirements.
Provide expertise, requirements and guidance to the Service Delivery teams and Development teams to ensure SOC1 (SSAE 16) and SOC2 compliance and assist in the development of the reports.
Ensure that Oracle Software Security Assurance (OSSA) policies and practices are used consistently across the FSGBU.
Work with Security Leads and SPOCs to track and report on OSSA training.
Review OSSA Release Security Checklists (RSC) with Security Leads and SPOCs, guide teams on remediation items and track compliance.
Complete and review Security Assessments from Financial Institutions and work with GBU Risk and Compliance and Global Product Security to obtain required approvals. Support security audits and visits from Financial Institutions to our Development facilities.
Provide technical expertise to the Development teams on security best practices, the Oracle security stack e.g. IDM, and other industry standard security products. Assist the Development teams with implementation of security requirements and integration to security products. Work with Development teams to resolve critical security vulnerabilities, determine impacts across product portfolio and course of action.
Develop a detailed understanding of how security is implemented in each of the FSGBU Product Families and how Oracle Software Security Assurance (OSSA) policies and practices are followed within each Line of Business. Leverage this knowledge to create a standardized approach to the implementation of security across the FSGBU product portfolio. Make recommendations to improve quality, lower risk and increase efficiencies of security implementations within the Development organizations.
Create collateral and whitepapers that strengthen Oracle's product security and broader security capabilities to support GTM positioning and messaging.
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
