7 years' experience in product management efforts at major high-tech companies.
Experience working with projects on GitHub, and managing projects in JIRA.
Prior experiences doing product management, technical product management, or solution architecture with an emphasis on Agile and open source development practices.
Demonstrated success in defining customer pain points, product requirements, market opportunities, and bringing products to market in a consistent and predicatable schedule.
Demonstrated success in working cross-functionally to achieve product, solution, and organizational objectives

As an inbound Product Manager in the Tools and Frameworks group you will be directly responsible for working with developments teams across Oracle to define features and requirements. You will work with the product engineering team to implement those features, making sure the meet all guidelines and best practices for Accessibility, Security, UX and more. You may be required to speak at conference sessions of a technical nature, but this will be a small part of the overall job.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
As a member of the product development team, you will analyze and integrate internal customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Collaborate with both customers and engineering to deliver a feature that meets Oracle standards as well as customer needs. You will be responsible for managing relationships across all facets of the Oracle business and bringing those customer issues to the attention of the core engineering team as well as the larger product management team.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software product management or related experience.
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
