Position Summary:
Do you want to identify massive, needle-moving opportunities and successfully bring them to market?
We are looking for a product marketer who is passionate, strategic, and customer-obsessed to help bring our next generation of products to market. This person will be responsible for our Talent Brand product portfolio, a set of marketing and advertising tools that helps companies attract and hire great talent on LinkedIn. The role will focus on validating new market opportunities, shaping product design through customer insight, and leading go-to-market strategy and execution with cross-functional partners. The right candidate can tease out customers real needs, develop data-driven business cases for action, create compelling narratives for our customers, and easily pivot from strategy to get-it-done mode.
This is a role in LinkedIn s Talent Solutions business, which is revolutionizing how employers find and attract top talent. It is LinkedIn's largest monetization business, driving over $2B in bookings in 2016. We operate as a "billion dollar startup with an entrepreneurial pace and bias for action, while scaling to become a global market leader.
  • Responsible for growing the Talent Brand business by leading product marketing strategy and execution for new products, features and monetization strategies
  • Develop deep market, customer and user insight to inform the portfolio roadmap and business & marketing strategies
  • Lead efforts to validate future product and feature concepts through customer interviews, research and analysis of user data
  • Partner closely with product management and business leaders to prioritize the product roadmap
  • Develop opportunity assessments and business cases to drive product growth and penetration
  • Develop go-to-market strategy including business goals, definition of target/persona, positioning, messaging, and sales narrative
  • Lead go to market teams and execution, partnering with global sales, marketing, and PR
  • Evangelize products internally and externally to drive adoption and engagement
Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in product, marketing or business strategy roles
  • BA/BS degree
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams
  • Experience with advertising platforms and products
  • Knowledge of HR and/or talent acquisition industry
  • Demonstrated success and passion for collecting and using customer insight to drive strategic decisions
  • Top-notch analytical chops; experience sizing and prioritizing market opportunities and building business cases
  • Product marketing experience with a track record of driving rapid growth of innovative technologies (B2B SaaS marketing or product experience a major plus)
  • Ability to position innovative products and tell compelling stories through messaging briefs and marketing collateral
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, "get it done entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • MBA degree
