Responsible for the coordination of all sales order efforts between manufacturing, sales operations, global revenue operations and channel partner management. Responsible for the monitoring of sales order commits dates to ensure agreed Manufacturing Lead times are met.
**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
May interface with production / engineering regarding sales order priority.
Works under close supervision of direct manager. Contacts are primarily with direct supervisor and team members in the group or department and those people directly related to primary role.
May interface with Business Operations to manage expedited orders and escalations relations with customers.
May provide guidance/direction to production cells regarding sales order priority, engineering change orders (ECOs), technical change orders (TCOs), product ship authorizations (PSAs) and quality issues.
Has a basic understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures needed to ensure orders ship on time.
Has a basic understanding of the IT tools and systems used to manage backlog, bookings, shipments and all necessary reporting requirements
May utilize SAP to transact sales orders from backlog in order to initiate the invoicing cycle and revenue recognition with the ability to process non-standard shipments of product with some assistance.
Sense of urgency.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to analyze information and draw accurate conclusions.
