Basic Job Concept:
Responsible for ensuring the PO's are run with the right tomato on the wash line and ensure that the employees assigned to that wash line are sending down their trash to be scanned out, separating salsa, green, and cooker tomatoes, and placing them in the appropriate pallet.
The line lead also ensures that three pallet tags are put back on the pallets and takes hourly readings on the wash line belt with the magnet. Will have to communicate which type of tomato needs to be run for that specific customer. Will be responsible for writing the PO numbers on the pick ticket for each item ran.

Educational Requirements:
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  2. Bilingual (spanish/english)
Experience Required:
  1. Experience in production flow
  2. Fresh Produce experience preferred.
Specific Responsibilities:
  1. Stack all products in a safe and orderly manner.
  2. Adhere to all safety rules.
  3. Check for quality
  4. Responsible for working until relieved by supervisor. This may require working longer than your scheduled work hours.
  5. Responsible for assisting with end of the day cleaning and regular plant cleaning.
  6. Perform other tasks, as requested by management
  7. Holiday, Weekend and Overtime work may be required.
  8. Good attendance and adherence to work schedule.
  9. Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices, Company Policies and Safety procedures.

1.Strong speaking, reading, and writing skills.
2.Must be able to work eight hours or longer on a consistent basis.

1.Stand for periods of time, and walk from observation area to observation area to fulfill program schedule.
2.Handle and feel objects and/or equipment controls; reach with hands and arms.
3.Must be able to talk and hear; hear warning horns on moving machinery and equipment.
4.Specific vision abilities required to perform this job include close and distance vision, depth perception, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
5.Must exhibit a level of endurance, energy, and strength to successfully perform position.
6.Ability to manually move 25 lbs. frequently
9.Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling are required.
Work Environment:
Walking and working is done on concrete flooring.
The shift end-time fluctuates with the employer's daily needs.
