Role Summary:

The Production Planner will serve as the primary coordinator of several key production plan-related issues, including: tracking and entry of key performance indicators for production department, coordination of green tagging of final product, validation of documentation prior to submission to data invoicing team, daily resolution of multiple problems to ensure blades move from WIP into finally invoice-able product, daily communication of production schedules and performance.

Essential Responsibilities:

As the Production Planner, you will:

+ Assist in creation of production tracking systems and ensure all data adequately reported

+ Establish, execute, and communicate work schedules

+ Have personal ownership of all production paperwork for accuracy and completeness prior to submission

+ Work with diverse teams from other departments to ensure WIP product receives daily green tag and invoicing status

+ Be responsible for production work orders in Axapta and ensuring proper month-end cutoffs

+ Communicate (verbal & written) with multiple departments and lead through influence

+ Maintain communication with other supervisors and managers regarding safety, quality, and performance

+ Submit work orders as needed

+ Schedule work & communicate changes to schedules as required

+ Be the primary point of contact for the WIP, production work orders, and production schedules

+ Execute Performance goals as agreed upon in your PMP

+ Coordinate and effectively communicate roles & responsibilities with support departments

+ Plan, organize, lead & validate CI processes / projects

+ Consistently enter accurate KPI data to global management team

+ Work with customers and auditors to provide audit-ready blades

Qualifications/Requirements:

+ Bachelor's Degree in an analytically-strong field such as science, engineering, finance, or economics

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with lean / six sigma cultures

Desired Characteristics:

+ ISO auditor experience

+ Experience in production planning environment

+ Highly effective oral and written communication skills

+ Computer literate (strong Excel skills)

+ Ability to solve problems within a diverse workforce

+ Ability to organize work for and work with/thru a team based group
