Production Supervisor - Brick, NJ Providing Technologically Advanced Products for Medical, Industrial and Scientific Companies Our client, a leading designer and manufacturer of gas sample conditioning equipment, has been in business for more than 40 years. They have a tremendous reputation in the marketplace and are searching for an experienced Production Supervisor to join their team. Responsibilities: Manage day to day production process to meet both system production delivery and quality targets including material planning, tracking material availability and scheduling production in a timely manner to ensure order delivery Conduct appropriate training of assemblers to insure product quality & maximize cross-training, adjust work load & assembly schedule to maximize on-time delivery Manage components inventories to avoid stock-outs while achieving departmental inventory turns target, and maintain agreed subassembly & finished goods inventories to meet target order lead time Test finished goods to ensure products quality & regulatory compliance, and perform trouble shooting whenever there are defects with the products. Employ lean and continuous improvement methodologies to place robust process quality control, increase manufacturing throughput, improve automation where appropriate Maintain a safe, clean, organized, & efficient department and process compliance with company quality management system and relevant regulations Keep proactive communication with functions of Sales, Material and Engineering counterparts to deliver strategic objectives. Perform additional duties as assigned by company Developing the team's strengths, setting targets and objectives, dealing with conflict and difficult situations Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Electronic Engineering (preferred) Technical background and experience in products assembly and Electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills Familiarity with process equipment and/or instrumentation Working experience in an ISO 9001 environment or regulated industry Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good knowledge & experience of MS Office and ERP system 2-3 years of solid supervisory experiences in workshop production covering process control, quality, delivery and cost control with hands-on approach Analytical, responsible, dependable and open-minded Self-motivated and able to work and manage independently To Apply - Please send a Word version of your resume to craig.macdonald@adeccona.com.
