Production Technician 2nd Shift (Treated Water)- Atlanta Syrup Plant

The Production Tech (Treated Water)will perform skilled and technical operations, minor maintenance, and repair work on a carbon filtration water treatment system. Employee will also be required to operate computerized manufacturing equipment to mix and process ingredients to company specified formulations and quality guidelines.

  • Monitor water treatment processes and systems and determine routine equipment and control adjustments to maintain proper operation, performance, and water quality.
  • Monitor control panels, gauges, and meters, including SCADA systems, to detect and correct variations in operating conditions.
  • Perform operation of manual and automated valves, pumps, gates, and control systems to maintain proper operation.
  • Read and interpret technical operations manuals, operating and maintenance procedures, and monitoring results.
  • Assist maintenance technicians with preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, oil changes, and other major maintenance tasks and repairs.


At least 3 years of directly related water treatment experience and knowledge of standard procedures for operation and maintenance of water systems.
