Ticket handling and scheduling in BMC Remedy. Must have the ability to manage multiple tickets, in multiple work streams, with great flexibility dealing with different types of requests. Job requires good Soft Skills to deal with demanding clients.
Project Manager in charge of handling multiple change request tickets and navigating network change requests through the change management process. Job includes dealing with break fix and maintenance requests, as well as Project requests. This can include coordination of multiple projects, work streams, and meetings with the clients. Job includes planning, budget, oversee and document all aspect of the projects, delivering every project on time within budget. Ensuring resource availability and allocation.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage organization of key client requests and projects.
Project Manager Job Duties:
Project management responsibilities include delivering every project on time within budget and scope. Project managers should have a background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis.
Ticket management is a large part of the job, position also deals with break fix and maintenance activities; we currently use BMC Remedy, and so background in that product is a plus.
Soft Skills in dealing with multiple clients in a professional, courteous and timely manner is required.
Firewall and Network management background a plus.
Manage requests in a timely and coordinated manner, working closely with the clients Network Operations Team.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects, maintenance and break fix activities. May require some off core hours work.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Report and escalate to management as needed
