Program Manager- Austin, Tx
-Manages a project through the life cycle product development process, seeks for phase approval when appropriate, and provide regular status update to executives.
Leads a cross functional core team consisting of marketing, service, sales, operations, quality, and finance to deliver End User Computing products.
Evaluates marketing requirements and drives engineering and core team assessment to meet these requirements.
Acts as primary point of contact for the Core Team and coordinates resources to successfully deliver these products.
-Manages all customer escalations, appropriately prioritizing and resolving key customer issues.
-MBA or Engineering Degree and 10 years of relevant experience.
-Advanced program management skills in a fast moving engineering environment.
-Strong leadership skills for influencing and driving cross functional groups.
-Experience with Mobility and/or communications products is a plus.
-Ability to set priorities and manage accordingly. Will be required to multi-task and manage several programs simultaneously, in a dynamic environment.
-Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment and can deliver on commitments.
-Proven ability to work with global suppliers to meet project goals. Some evening conference calls will be required.
-Ability to communicate clearly/accurately, oral and written.
