The Hyper-V PM team is looking for individuals to join us in solving deep technical problems while re-imagining and driving the future of Microsoft’s virtualization strategy. We’re part of the Base Windows Operating System team, where we:
• Build cornerstone technologies powering Microsoft Azure Fabric and Services,

• Drive innovation in Windows and Linux Containers, and
• Lead adoption of OSS technologies in the core of Windows

We are responsible for virtual machines, containers and the Windows subsystem for Linux.

As a PM on the Hyper-V team, you’ll meet customers and consultants to hear their stories, learn how they use our product, and engage with leaders in the hardware industry and developer community to track and respond to industry trends and emerging technologies. You’ll turn these customer problems and requirements into specifications for new features, and work with your partners in Development and Quality to engineer, refine, plan, and deliver innovative, world-class solutions. You will be responsible for evangelizing these features to our customers through various channels, including twitter, blogs and tradeshows.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and exceptional aptitude for quickly coming up to speed and mastering complex technical topics. You’ll also need outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking, and the ability to track multiple issues simultaneously.
