Do you want to work on the team responsible for one of the fastest growing areas of Microsoft? Join the Azure Compute Linux/OSS PM team to have an opportunity to work on a variety of projects, which span multiple teams, including direct interaction with customers, partners, and Linux distribution vendors.

As a member of the team you will assist internal and external teams in VM agent/extension onboarding, publishing and maintenance. You will work with Linux distribution vendors, such as Red Hat, to ensure their successful adoption of and operation in Azure. You will have an opportunity to work with and help our partners and customers onboard specific OSS workloads to Azure among other things.

This is a fast-paced, highly technical hands-on position. You must have a passion for customers, technology, excellent oral and written communications skills

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
• Strong technical mindset, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently
• Experience troubleshooting complex technical problems, documenting process and providing feedback to the development teams on it
• Ability to learn on the job with necessary breadth and depth where required
• Linux and OSS experience

Basic Qualifications:
• 2+ years of technical program management or engineering experience.
