Program Manager 2

Microsoft Teams is on fire! We’re the hottest v1 product at Microsoft and even before we launched the press was calling us “the first product to truly compete against hot group-messaging apps” (PC World), and Gartner called us “a real game changer”. Microsoft Teams is used worldwide in a variety of industries and is a central piece of Microsoft’s Office 365 suite of products.

Our team is looking for a driven and knowledgeable Program Manager with a strong technical background to help us define and execute the next generation of functionality for managing devices working with Teams. The role will involve working closely with our engineering team to investigate and evaluate different architecture choices and technologies as well as working numerous partner teams to pave the way in a new area of emerging technology. Candidates would need to be able to drive successful collaboration across various groups while maintaining a focus on customer requirements.


•Drive technical discussions to create a scalable, highly available system to manage devices and other IT Pro scenarios for Teams.

•Define business and customer requirements, and translate into efficient, crisp functional specifications.

•Participate and drive architecture, design reviews for selected components.

•Drive execution and demonstrate end to end ownership of complex, cross-group projects to successful completion.

•Evolve service capabilities to enhance the value and viability of Teams.


•4+ years of Program management experience

•Successful track record in continuous delivery of cloud-based services and infrastructure

•Passion for customers and ability to translate customer requirements into efficient designs

•Ability to quickly pick up new technologies and industry trends

•Strong problem solving and communication skills, self-driven and long-term strategic thinker

•Familiarity with device specific projects on Android OS a plus
