Gartner Research is looking for a highly motivated and organized Program Manager to join the User Sourced Content Strategy team. This role is responsible for defining, executing and managing content strategy and promotion programs that support User Sourced Content initiatives.
*Identify and scale activities that drive engagement with user sourced content programs.
*Monitor client usage and behavioral patterns to identify content and topics that drive high activity and engagement.
*Define, deliver and manage content strategy, editorial calendar and promotion programs on a global basis.
*Improve client experience and increase usage of Gartner Research content by designing, coordinating, executing and measuring the effectiveness of compelling content strategy and promotion programs that support user sourced content strategy.
*Provide thought leadership on appropriateness of tools and process to support program goals.
*Launch content strategy and promotion programs and manage ongoing interactions with internal stakeholders.
*Design and deliver program communications and presentations to all levels of management within and beyond Research.
*Establish criteria and develop reports and analysis that assess the effectiveness of content strategy and promotion programs.
*Contribute to the delivery of Gartner business objectives by developing and implementing content strategy and content promotion programs that drive business and increase customer engagement and retention.
*Ensure content strategy and promotion programs demonstrate value and return on investment, increase Research content visibility, and enhance the customer experience.
*Maintain an excellent understanding of Research content and products being supported, as well as internal and external client informational needs.
*Attend select Gartner events and interact with prospects and clients as a content expert. Manage focus groups and garner client feedback regarding content and product usability.
*This role has a global scope and requires high levels of collaboration across the BUs and corporate services groups. Specific internal contacts include Research Executive Management team; Research Analysts; RSO - Editing and RIG teams; Senior Research Board; Marketing; PR; Events; Sales; Sales Operations; STG; Legal.
*Externally, this role involves interactions with clients, prospect and third-party software vendors.
*Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent 4-year university degree) in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or other related field.
*8 years total business experience with at least 5 years’ experience managing content/product strategy projects in a complex, matrix organization.
*Demonstrated track record of designing and implementing effective content strategy and promotional programs.
*Demonstrated track record of designing and managing optimized processes, projects and programs in a global workforce environment.
*Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project.
*Previous experience working with enterprise applications, databases, analytical tools, and standard reporting tools.
*Excellent written and oral communication skills.
*Content marketing skills a plus.
*Requires travel to select Gartner events. Overall travel less than 20%.
