Passionate about user experiences, and the developers who create them? Define the future of user experiences from Microsoft by joining the Windows User Experience Platform team.



We deliver the platform building blocks and experience framework that enable developers inside and outside Microsoft to create user interfaces that shine across the latest hardware devices and inputs, look-and-feel beautiful and coherent, and deeply engage customers to let them do more!



You will design, spec, and ship key aspects of the Windows user interface platform used by developers to create experiences enjoyed by hundreds of millions of users around the world each day. In doing so, you will work closely with design, user research, apps, shells, tools, and other partners across Windows and Microsoft to deliver not only a great platform, but compelling end-to-end customer experiences upon that platform.



Basic qualifications:

3+ years’ experience in program management and/or software development.



Preferred qualifications:

Completion of multiple ship cycles on a large-scale product a plus.

Intellectual horsepower and creativity. The ability to quickly adapt to new technology and go deep in new areas.

Excellent communication and partnering skills. Effectiveness to drive features across disparate teams with different needs and incentives.

Experience delivering end-user experiences and/or developer platforms a significant plus.
