TIAA is actively seeking a Sr. Lead Program Manager within the Digital Channels Technology space.  The Sr. Lead Program Manager’s role is to monitor and manage programs consisting of multiple technology projects and programs. The program manager develops and maintains the direction of IT projects and programs and ensures program/project alignment with organizational objectives so that:
  • A manageable framework and methodology for program management is maintained within the organization
  • Program components align with the defined strategic goals and organizational priorities of the organization
  • Appropriate infrastructure and systems are maintained to support effective program management processes
  • Compliance with evolving organizational goals and market opportunities is maintained
  • Accurate and consistent communication to stakeholders on progress, change and impact is maintained at the program level
  • The relationship of the program to dependent projects is clearly recognized and communicated
  • Manages and coordinates multiple programs in order optimize program or portfolio delivery
  • Identifies and manages inter-dependencies across programs
  • Oversees management of risks, issues, and changes to projects within their programs
  • Maintains a framework and methodology for program management
  • Maintains relevant program management processes (e.g. risk management)
  • Regularly reviews, reallocates, and checks priorities within the program to align with organizational goals and direction
  • Monitors status on appropriate infrastructure and systems to support program management
  • Ensures compliance is met across assigned programs
  • Monitors program -level risks and issues and intervenes, as necessary
  • Provides timely assessment and communication of program prioritization and performance to key stakeholders
  • Provides program performance metrics to the organization through key performance indicators, as designated
  • Participates in frequent program and project reviews to reflect senior level support, leadership, and involvement
  • Prioritizes project/program budget and resources to deliver on client’s priorities
  • Anticipates and takes action on future risks, problems and opportunities
  • Develops and exercises IT Roadmap plans
  • Accountable for staffing and resource plans in own area; makes final hiring decisions
  • Accountable for conducting technical interviewing of new technical recruits
  • Manages budget for own area




Required Skills
  • 10+ years delivering complex technology products and services in a high growth/high velocity environment
  • 10+ years experience working within a highly matrixed environment with delivery responsibilities
  • 8+ years of experience leading high level ($20M plus) programs with the consumer internet, corporate technology, and/or financial services firm
  • 8+ years owning and executing multiple programs simultaneously
  • Experience as a data-driven decision maker
  • Experience influencing multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure an impactful level of team involvement in key business discussions
