Scrum Master experience (Scrum Master Certification would be a Big Plus) • Must Have extensive experience with Jira including flow evolution to optimize defect and REQUIREMENTS Must have tenured solid program management experience in SW development environment. Must have solid experience in driving release management across several SW products (using 3rd party Jira plug-ins or other portfolio management tools) where there are resource constraints and shifting business opportunities / priorities. I.E. Experience in a very dynamic smaller company where you would initially wear a Scrum Master hat/Release Management hat, and would also likely have responsibility managing a partner program that we have specific product derivative deliverables for. POSITION SUMMARYOur company is seeking an experienced Sr. Program Manager who will be responsible for planning, organizing, and leading multiple cross-functional development programs within the companys R&D organization. These programs contain complex activities that span functions and organizations. The Sr. Program Manager is expected to build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain communication with stakeholders at multiple levels. This role will maintain continuous alignment of program scope with strategic business objectives and make recommendations to modify the program to enhance effectiveness toward the business result or strategic intent. The successful candidate for this position will have skills in both the R&D program and business environment, knowledge of the cross-functional departments needed to release solutions to the market, and experience with both agile development and traditional project management methodologies. In addition, the candidate should have advanced skills in leadership, communication, influence, negotiation, and conflict resolution. The ideal candidate will be a strong hands-on contributor as well as have the ability to lead a team, providing leadership, mentoring, and coaching as we scale.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead regular cross-functional program team meetings and facilitate key team activities. Drive team consensus towards coordinated activities in line with key program objectives. Ensure team member accountability for actions. Assess future challenges to programs and initiatives and mobilize team members to take action, proactively addressing issues before they escalate. Ensure appropriate change control and conduct program retrospectives. Coordinate and communicate with program management and cross-functional colleagues to ensure that cross-team dependencies are accounted for and deployable solutions that meet market, business, and strategic objectives are delivered to our customers.EDUCATIONAL / TRAINING / JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Program Management Professional (PgMP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification with PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) preferred Agile Scrum Master Certification (CSM) preferred.
