Adecco Executive Recruitment is searching on behalf of its client in Danville, VA for the position of Program Manager. In this job, you will provide internal support and service for the company's clients. You will lead the development of a team approach to servicing your clients. As the Program Manager, you will be the central point of contact for the sales/product development. You will manage, develop and implement product business activities to maximize sales of assigned product lines.
Support the Account Executives' project work thus enabling them to stretch their productive reach with the client
Manage and maintain agreements with the clients; ensure that documents are complete and accurately reflect the agreements with both suppliers and clients.
Maintain set of processes, contracts and pro forma P&Ls; analyze the profitability of new business and confirm existing business conforms to established profitability targets; provide leadership with regular updates on account profitability.
Develop client relationships with key operational people and support their need for operational excellence
Work with Customer Care and Purchasing to ensure that internal processes are documented, implemented and completed.
Coordinate efforts of all team members as they focus on servicing the client; monitor credit limits, inventory, service levels, and other KPIs
Oversee implementation of new accounts, including methods/procedures for those new accounts
Manage the customer support team and lead it to increase productivity through continuous improvement and outstanding support.
Demonstrate ability to complete all tasks with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-up
Ensure professional, accurate and timely communication to complete tasks and resolve issues
Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all tasks
YOU WILL HAVE:
BA/BS in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field and 3+ years of experience in business management with a focus on business development
Project management skills are a must
Must be proficient in MS Office, Word and Excel
Knowledge of and ability to work in metric system
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Thoroughness and attention to detail are key in this position
Familiarity with a variety of business concepts, practices and procedures
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Process documentation experience is helpful
A general understanding of inventory management and analysis
Willingness to constantly self-train on new procedures, systems, etc.
Ability to lead and manage groups of people not located in the same facility
A can do attitude and the willingness to see projects/tasks to completion
