GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Program Assistant position is fulfilled by an independent, but team-oriented, individual who is comfortable working with sales and administrative staff in a casual office setting within a light industrial warehouse. The Program Assistant supports sales of lighting upgrades in existing buildings by developing and writing client proposals under the direction of a sales team member, while adhering to multiple deadlines, and using methods to best serve the goal of effective sale closures. Details about a property's existing lighting are compared with available products and solutions in order to present a lighting plan to the customer that will result in improved lighting, financial savings, and/or other benefits. Energy efficiency incentive program administration includes eligibility assessments, technical applications, submittals, and tracking.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Strong technical aptitude with a problem-solving mentality.
* Solid technical writing and editing skills.
* 1 to 3 years of experience in the professional lighting industry is preferable, ideally related to multi-family housing and office buildings.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Familiar with other common software applications.
* Self-motivated and organized.
