This project manager position is responsible for conducting complex, high profile data analyses to support New Initiatives and New Cardmember Management marketing strategies.
The candidate must be good at strategic thinking and have a demonstrated ability to provide creative solutions to complex business problems using advanced analytical techniques with both internal and external data sources.
Additionally, the candidate must be able to explain the analytical results to business partner in a clear, concise and effective manner.
The candidate will work closely with the Marketing managers in the design and execution of marketing programs, product changes and various promotional campaigns to drive card member engagement and usage.
The candidate must demonstrate the ability to work independently on multiple projects with cross-functional teams
Support onboarding of any new affinity/cobrand programs with on-going performance tracking and invoice management
Help design marketing campaigns/strategies to acquire new affinity/cobrand accounts and improve their post-booking experience
Develop models and segmentations to further improve campaign targeting and card member engagement for both New Initiatives and New Card Member area
Analyze program performance and make strategic recommendations to improve program effectiveness in terms of targeting and usage.
Consult with Business Partners in strategy development.
Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Business Technology & External vendors
Monitor, explain and forecast key financial metrics related to card member loyalty.
Develop reports to monitor and explain trends.
Work with offshore teams.
Efficiently extract, consolidate and analyze data from multiple source systems using SAS, SQL, and Excel.
1-3 years professional experience with a strong background in data and financial analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimum supervision and demonstrate outstanding problem solving and decision making skills.
Extensive experience with SAS software in UNIX and PC environments.
Strong SQL and Excel skills required.
Experience with predictive modeling and econometric time series forecasting, preferably in the credit card industry.
