This role provides the GPC organization with a "business liaison” to the Dell Information Technology organizations. Some of the tasks gathering business requirements to be included in a Business Requirements Document, participating in user acceptance testing, and participating in the deployments. These deployments are supporting projects that are medium to small in scope and are aimed at improving customer experience and/or reducing cost for GPC, so ensuring the projects achieve their timelines and on budget is essential. The position main responsibility will be managing “day to day” tactical tasks for MSS, IRIS and Epitome which could include running reports, troubleshooting errors or monitoring applications.
P roject Manager for Global Parts & Configuration Service (GPC) focused on sustaining support for Dell IT applications MSS, IRIS, and Epitome which support GPC in the Americas. GPC Org consists of the procurement/forecasting and management of the supply chain for service parts globally and also the configuration services business.
Responsibilities will include participating in cross organizational teams and utilizing command skills, leadership, and team building to drive for results. They will need to conduct periodic reviews with management to ensure the projects are on track so communications skills are required. Candidate should have good writing and analytical skills, and demonstrated project management abilities. Web-enabler skills, SQL, Power point, Word, database and Excel skills are needed as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities.
