Project Coordinator, National Accounts

Job Description:

This role will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring that project installations for premier and at risk national account customers are completed per the requirements of the customer. This position will be communicating status updates to the customer as projects proceed and will be responsible for ensuring "punch lists" and change orders are handled expeditiously to close out project on time.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring a well-defined scope of work of agreed upon prior to the start of work
  • Participate in Strategic Account Executive's pre-construction calls that outline scope of work and job requirements to the district PM
  • Coordinate project reviews after hand-off to enforce contract process steps from quote approval to final invoicing to minimize the need for credits and rebills
  • Ensure that Marriott (module 14) standards (when required) are adhered to when required and ensure Marriott inspector passes system on agreed upon inspection date
  • Ensure change orders or "punch lists" are quoted, approved and scheduled expeditiously
  • Work with district TSM's to schedule inspectors/technicians when inspections or final terminations are required for CO
  • Initiate and communicate corrective actions as required
  • Develop personal tools to track and monitor projects
  • Ensure subcontractor scheduling and equipment purchase orders are created to meet completion dates; communicate delays
  • Verify project schedules
  • Escalate issues as is necessary to meet customer requirements
  • Schedule and conduct post-construction meeting

Job Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associates degree preferred
  • Prior life safety, product knowledge is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project
  • Basic knowledge of the construction industry
  • Project reporting
  • Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude
  • Thorough working knowledge of NFPA and CAD is a plus
