Responsible for developing plans and leading teams for site expansions, solvent delivery, formulations and process transfer projects between Alcon's Vision Care Manufacturing Facility's. Duties and responsibilities consists of developing Capital Appropriation Requests; obtaining executive approval, organizing and launching the project, perform design reviews, executing upon the expected deliverables, performing change management within the scope/schedule/budget constraints, closing the project and properly transferring responsibilities to Manufacturing and Facilities.

Interact effectively with other global Vision Care manufacturing facilities to support process improvements, technology transfers and lessons learned. Identify key projects to be implemented at the site, considering business needs, long term site strategy and cost savings opportunities. Develop capital proposals for the site infrastructure and chemical processing. Periodically review capital project status with senior management. Develop and maintain program/project charters and plans. Develop cross functional integrated project schedules, identify key interdependencies, develop resource demand plan, coordinate task assignments, manage project execution, track and monitor deliverables, report project progress. The implementation of processes to prevent project scope creep. Manage multiple assignments and sub-projects with little management oversight. Provide initial project scope details, perform detailed design reviews and recommend changes to the design firm. Manage the construction related to expansion and process improvement projects. Utilize tools such as MS Project and Excel software to develop and analyze schedules, develop concept and execution plans, track project KPI's, and generate informative and useful reports. Lead cross functional teams through risk assessment and issue resolution. Identify potential timeline or budget risks and coordinated actions to resolve. Recognize and initiate resolution of potential conflicts to ensure they are resolved quickly and completely.

Direct accountability for: - Delivery of projects on time/on budget as defined in the Capital Request and yearly objectives - Development and support of project team members to achieve key project milestones and their yearly objectives - Oversight during projects to ensure compliance with Quality site objectives - Project risk mitigation activities required to maintain schedule and budget - Identification and execution of significant cost reduction projects for the site. - Accuracy of P&ID reviews and final design to meet user requirements and agreed upon project deliverables - Delivery of projects to support site product demand plans and cost reduction initiatives.

To meet the demands of our customers, a 24/7 operation is required. As such, we must support and or cover weekend and night shifts.
