TheProject Directoris responsible for all of the requirements of a Sr. Project Manager plus demonstrates the ability to identify key people to bring about change and understands underlying cultural dynamics to develop a network of contacts. Targets specific people to achieve project goals and objectives. Possesses awareness of significant contributing factors to manage project change. Demonstrates a solid understanding of the end to end business processes and the critical IT dependencies, as well as knowledge of additional regions and Enterprise needs .
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Manages projects across business units, regions, or the enterprise
Influences at all levels within the organization, often setting strategy and direction
Coaches and mentors project team members
Mentors other project managers around project management methodology
Determines project scope
Develops resource, risk, quality, cost, and scope management plans
Develops training plans
Defines, recommends, and secures contractual agreements for services and products
Coordinates requirements, schedules implementation and post-implement plans, and develops service-level agreements for vendor partners and global resources firms
Develops requirements documents
Develops project approval matrices
Identifies project team training and tool needs
Defines quality gates for each project methodology phase
Defines critical success factors
Establishes and manages the project warranty period
BA/BS in a related field
Minimum of 9 years professional project management experience required, during which at least 7 years are spent leading and directing large project tasks
or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
Masters Degree preferred.
PMP certification required or must be obtained within one year of hire date
Ability to function in a dual PM capacity (IT and Business)
Member migration experience a plus
WGS and/or NASCO platform knowledge a preferred
