Responsibilities: Manage the quality and progress of the mechanical requirements for the project, ensuring that all mechanical support requirements are satisfied. Works closely with internal team and client to resolve any existing or forecasted problems related to project design or deliverables Troubleshoot systems issues as needed (may require travel) Provide specific subject matter expertise, especially in the areas of Energy Management and Controls Systems. Development of new HVAC products through designing, drafting (proficiency with3D Solid Edge and/or AutoCAD required), prototyping, testing with a focus on optimizing product performance and manufacturability. Design of special products to meet unique project specifications. Interpret construction documents including mechanical plans, engineering specifications and product schedules. Work with manufacturing/production teams to optimize designs for manufacturability and minimize cost. Participate in the creation of technical/marketing documentation Requirements: 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering At least 5 years of related work experience Experience managing, supervising or leading a team Professional Engineer registration with active membership in a professional engineering society (preferred) Experience within manufacturing Experience with Bill of Material (BOM) / costing Experience with radiant heating systems, hydronic HVAC, fluid flow or heat transfer a plus Experience performing facility assessments, design reviews, specification development, and contractor oversight Strong level of experience with AutoCAD software Experience with Revit or similar modeling software Proficiency with 3D Solid Edge and / or SolidWorks Hydronic design and application experience is a plus Domestic travel - 25% If you are interested in this Project Engineering Manager opportunity please click APPLY NOW or send your resume directly to Craig MacDonald at Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled
