Leads one or more EDG Program engagements in coordination with business unit stakeholders and data domain subject matter experts to facilitate the successful program onboarding. The Project Lead provides advisory leadership in Enterprise Data Governance standards, practices, and the integration of Enterprise Data Services programs and data domains. Supports MetLife to enable a date driven culture.



  • Assists Director – Enterprise Data Governance in the ongoing refinement of key work product templates, documents, project plans, and other artifacts as required to support EDG engagements
  • Builds trusted customer/partner relationships for long term success of EDG program
  • Provides advisory to business units in the structuring of local data governance offices and programs
  • Provides advisory in the implementation of process supporting data stewardship, data governance communication, data governance KPI measurement and reporting
  • Provides expert guidance to data governance working groups on the interpretation, alignment, and execution against EDG Standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support daily program activity


Extensive business acumen with broad range of exposure to business units

  • Superior customer relationship, communications and presentation skills
  • Excellent written skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration
  • 5+ years of experience in leading technical and business project teams
  • 5+ years of experience with data ingestion, data integration, data movement and control
  • 5+ years of experience with developing process flows and data flows
