This role will provide governance over stage-gate processes, oversee and ensure compliance across all project execution areas, supply metrics around how organizations are performing, partner with Business Areas and IT & Product Delivery organizations on continuous process improvement. Initially this role will be established as an individual contributor within the GPMO and will be an instrumental partner to the organization. The GPMO currently interfaces with all areas of the organization providing Project Management and process adherence for a large portfolio of offerings.
-Design and enforce stage-gate governance management (PSC / CCB)
-Establish, Chair, and Oversee all project governance and change control meetings (PSC / CCB)
-Audit all projects to ensure completeness and readiness for PSC
-Establish, Chair, and Oversee Process Steering Committee to ensure all changes are rolled out properly
-Harmonize stage-gate Deliverables and Templates Globally to establish consistency across all of SecureWorks
-PMO Tool administration
-Assist in research efforts on organizational process improvements driving those to completion
-Partner with Delivery organizations on Root Cause Analysis and recommended process changes
-Facilitate Global Auditing of all PMO areas and actions for resolving open issues
-Establish and maintain ongoing performance metrics on how processes are working Globally
-Develop and make available executive level dashboards that shows all relevant KPI's across Global PMO
As a managed security provider, SecureWorks expects its employees to understand and apply commonly known security practices and possess a working knowledge of applicable industry controls such as NIST 800-53. Employees will be expected to acknowledge their security responsibilities in writing prior to gaining access to company systems. Employees will be required to maintain a working knowledge of local security policies and execute general controls as assigned.
-15 years Project Management experience
-Experience in Product Development organizations
-Experience in Information Technology organizations
-Industrial Engineering degree
-Project Management Professional Certification
-Demonstrable experience implementing Stage-Gate
-Demonstrable experience implementing Key Performance Indicators
-Understanding of PMO Tools and how they are best utilized
-Experience communicating with C-level executives
-Organizational Change Management experience
-Experience with development methodologies (CMMI, Agile, etc)
-Experience harmonizing incongruent processes across multiple internal organizations
-Demonstrable experience managing an Executive Level portfolio steering committee
-5 years’ experience in Cyber Security space with intermediate knowledge of offerings
