Robert Half is seeking an ambitious Project Manager for a successful client of ours located in the East Bay. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting software for the nonprofit and public sectors. Candidates who will be successful as a Project Manager will need to have had experience managing complex projects to completion, who is client-focused, and has strong communication and decision-making skills. Duties and responsibilities of this Project Manager role: - Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget through oversight of project deliverables and coordination of resources - Lead or co-lead all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, testing, and monitoring - Manage a portfolio of clients and make certain a high level of satisfaction with the solution is achieved - Maintain knowledge of each of the client's system offerings and configuration options, leverage that knowledge to address unique client requirements - Gather and analyze client requirements, using discovery sessions, document analysis, business process descriptions and use cases - Develop project scopes and budgets, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility - Use appropriate techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs - Work collaboratively with Client's technical development team to develop solutions to meet complex client requirements - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation using project management tools - Lead clients through the user adoption process and support the client's ongoing use of the system - Deliver training and related resources to users through a variety of channels by developing materials and leading in-person and/or virtual training - Conduct regular meetings with the client and make recommendations for improved system capabilities to increase client success - Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques - Implement best-practice methodologies to provide and improve client success activities - Participate in ongoing innovation efforts to ensure that our clients platform is delivering on key user needs, as well as strategic goals - Work across departments to modify processes and policies to improve the client experience
