Summary: Responsible for using best practice PMO methodology to create a project plan to fit the stakeholders/sponsor���s needs and deliver on desired outcomes. Education/ Experience. Bachelor���s degree. PMP certification preferred. Eight plus years relevant experience managing projects. Skills and Competencies. Advanced verbal and written communication skills. Ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals. Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics. Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis. Advanced proficiency with all MS Office applications, MS Project and/or Visio. Highly organized with good time management skills. Customer service orientation, and strong interpersonal skills. Analytical thinker with creative problem solving skills and attention to detail. Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Develop integrated baseline project plans applying estimating models, identify resources and skills required, document estimating assumptions, refine plans and manage performance against them. Recommend best solutions based on understanding of business issues. Provide task-based schedule and cost forecasts and assist in assessing risk-based provisions. Capture and track program metrics and perform analysis. Manage project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk. Manage client expectations, anticipates operational and tactical risks and tracks them. Clarify, identify, and track requirements and issues, remove barriers, resolve minor project issues and escalate to immediate manager where required. Manage project closure initiatives, such as client satisfaction survey and closure analysis. Document and archive project activities, deliverables, tools and findings for future projects. Please note: This position is not eligible for OT and DT multipliers. All hours are billed at ST rate.

Perform bi-monthly project data downloads of CICT (Cost Impact Collaboration Tool) database, perform data analysis on gross and net fiscal savings as well as overall project savings compared to target goals. Create standardized set of graphs to communicate results using previously developed templates in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint utilizing think-cell software add-in.

Position���s Contributions to Work Group:
Creating, updating and maintaining a high volume of Primavera project plans to support Engineering design and resourcing projects. Obtain weekly updates on project tasks, update the plans accordingly and generate reports to communicate project status. Obtain and analyze cost reduction project data and create graphs showing results to date vs. targets. Ownership of project plans to ensure accuracy, contribute to achieving a robust and accurate project management process.

Typical Day:
Interacting and Leading a large number of people, mostly engineering and purchasing personnel, to create, update and maintain project plans. Leading teams through planning sessions and day-to-day planning decisions. Generate summary reports on project status for management updates.

Technical Skills:
Ability to coordinate and maintain a large number of projects critical to business unit objectives. Familiarity creating, updating and linking Primavera projects plans and generating report summaries. Familiarity with standard MS Office software. Must be able to do Vlookups and Pivot tables in Excel.
