Job Description:

A few local clients are going through EPIC implementations. These expected implementations will begin the end of 2016 or the beginning of 2017.

Successful candidates will be responsible for Program Management - EPIC Implementation for Health Care Clinics.
- Prior successful implementation of EPIC a must (2-3 implementation at least) - Ability to work with, and manage multiple stakeholders (Business Area, Vendor, IT, etc)
Additional Information: Project work typically has a sizable, major impact on the corporation / division. Responsible for program oversight, planning, program tracking, scope management, change control management, risk management, and quality assurance of the development project team. Assist in development and support of the vision and business objectives of the organization. Direct the activities of resources in line with business objectives of the organization. Drives the quality and timely delivery of critical path products and services. Establish and maintain quality metrics and guidelines. Implement process and system improvements including integration with other functional areas. Translate organization's business requirements into effective business solutions. Resolves high level conflicts by making broad decisions, or negotiating with affected senior management. Job Qualifications: Typically has a minimum of 9 years comprehensive project management experience. Develops and maintains long-term relationships with strategic Walgreens and industry leaders. Adept at the development of schedule, cost, and risk management strategies. Experienced implementing project management within various Walgreen organizations and environments. Education and Experience: Individual must have a bachelor's degree and at least 12 years' experience, including experience in implementing global projects, OR An advanced degree with at least 10 years of consulting experience and experience in implementing global projects in the retail and/or healthcare industries. 9-11 years of experience in project management. PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required. Minimum of 7 years business/industry knowledge. Minimum of 5 years' experience with Project Management systems/Applications. Minimum of 5 years' experience in Information Technology when required in scope of work.
